Concussed

I have been suffering from a rather large headache for the past few days. On Thursday I was bringing in some shoppping from my Mum's car into my block of flats. I tend to put all the bags at the bottom of the stairs and then take them up to my flat in a couple of trips. At the bottom of the stairs there is a bit of wall that juts out. When I stood up after putting the bags down I cracked my head off this part of wall - BIG OUCH!
I remained still for a few moments whilst running down a mental checklist - am I feeling dizzy, am I going to faint, is my nose bleeding? etc. Whilst the answer to these questions were no, I did discover that I had broken my glasses I use for reading/driving/computer work, cut my nose and grazed my forehead AND a lump was starting to grow!
So - although I am physically fine, apart from the headache, I am praying for money to replace my glasses and thanking God that I didn't give myself a black eye! Wouldn't that have looked attractive?
